This album represents years of work and staying true to his roots as Alaska's State balladeer, as well as taking the listener on a lyrical journey through American folk. Hobo was able to collaborate with long time friend Janis Ian on the song "Guardian Angel". He was also fortunate enough to have Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Pat Flynn, and Rob Iykes back on his new album. Jim worked with several other talented musicians on the album including: Brian Pruitt, Jellyroll Johnson, Joey Miskulin, Cactus Moser, Jaime Hartford, Steve Bryant, and Scott Vestal. This album represents the culmination of years of experience and journeys for Hobo, and is an essential listen for any fan of folk music.
